Chiropractic in Pregnancy for Safer Births Radio ShowsWe have completed the first season of our radio talk show, Holistic Pediatrics for Parents and Practitioners. These weekly shows were broadcasted live at the Voice America Health and Wellness website from September through December 2005. We will continue to create new shows as soon as we receive adequate funding to continue with a new series. Dr. Neustaedter is the author of Child Health Guide: Holistic Pediatrics for Parents and Education Director of the Holistic Pediatric Association (HPA). Dr. Palevsky is a pediatrician, and president of the Holistic Pediatric Association (HPA) and the American Holistic Medical Association (AHMA). Holistic Approach to the Prevention & Treatment of Ear Infections, Colds, Sinus InfectionsOctober 26 Antibiotics are not the appropriate first line of treatment for childhood respiratory conditions. Nonetheless, children receive repeated antibiotic courses through the winter that lead to an escalating problem of recurrent infections. This cycle can be broken using simple holistic measures. Effective prevention and holistic treatment are the best methods for managing these acute and recurrent problems. Proper nutrition, avoidance of toxic drugs, herbal protocols, homeopathic medicines, and chiropractic adjustment can all play a role in preventing, treating, and eliminating these illnesses that plague our children. 7.
